You must have and maintain a valid email address to confirm your application and receive important PVA communications. Crew members will receive emails from PVA periodically regarding their account or important system service updates. PVA will never send advertisements or spam. By continuing with your application, you agree to receive those emails.
PVA tracks flights and through an in-house ACARS software "PremCARS". The following flight simulators are supported for use:
Additionally, flight sim tracking requires the use of FSUIPC, or XPUIPC for X-Plane. Sending the recorded data to our servers is done by PVA's "PremCARS" software. All are available with a free version and instructions are available within.
PVA fully integrates the SimBrief dispatching API into our systems to provide realistic flight planning, weight/balance and IFR Release. You are required
to have a SimBrief account (which is free) to generate the flight dispatches for your flights and send it to PremCARS for accurate flight tracking.
IFR Routes will be built using the free AIRAC cycle for SimBrief. If you have a Navigraph subscription (which is not required), you can unlock that latest AIRAC in SimBrief. PVA will automatically build your route and track your flight using the AIRAC you unlock.
Being a member of PVA is free. You may enjoy all the events, missions and static airline schedules. A premium membership is available with a monthly fee to help support the costs of PVA and give you access to real-time IFR Flights and scheduled airline flights worldwide, along with other benefits. There is no obligation to signup or continue your subscription and you may cancel it at anytime with no penalties or loss of rank or hours.
You will be able to gain higher rank based upon number of hours and flights flown. Higher ranks will give you access to bid on larger airframes.
You are not required to fly your flights using online ATC services like VATSIM, IVAO or POSCON. You may however, receive bonus hours or additional perks for using online ATC for your PVA flights.
Time Acceleration or slewing inside of your flight simulator is prohibited during PVA flight operations. PremCARS will disable and report attempts to accelerate time or slew while tracking the flight.
PremCARS will randomly request confirmation from you to verify you are "in the cockpit". A total of 60 minutes or more of delay to the requests during the course of the flight will reject your PIREP.
A flight PIREP must be submitted once every 30 days, whether the PIREP was approved or rejected. Inactivity will auto-retire you PVA. You may regain active status of your account by signing back into the PVA crew system, as long as your account is in good standing. Premium member accounts will not auto-retire while the subscription is still active.

We do not collect or store sensitive personal information including addresses, phone numbers, social security numbers or payment information. The most common things that we do collect are:
User Inputs - Any information provided to the site by visitors or members via forms, comments screenshots from your computer or forum posts may be collected and saved on our servers, especially where it is required for proper operations throughout the site.
Web Cookies - When visitors or members access the site, we read the cookie information created by PVA to validate the connection, user ID and browser information to help improve the automation and browser experience.
Auth Tokens - Logged in users who interact with the site via our PremCARS software send information to and from their computer using a generated Auth Token via XML POST data to validate the user and flight bid for use of tracking the flight and storing on our server.
3rd Parties - We may on occasion collect information from other sources about you, like SimBrief, VATSIM or through Paypal notifications of payments or donations you made to PVA. No financial or credit card information is stored except a verification code and amount from Paypal.
When you log into PVA's site or services, provide information via forms or payments via Paypal, you are consenting to us collecting, storing and using that information as defined within this policy. If you choose not to provide personal information, we may not be able to successful deliver our services to you or allow access to the full set of services we provide.

Your information is stored for as long as your membership remains active, as long as we need it to provide you services, maintain accurate statistics and site tracking, or as required to fulfill legal or regulatory needs.

Prior Members of Phoenix Virtual Airways will receive full transfer credits from their logbook. You must use the same email address as your Phoenix VA account and check the box below to initiate a transfer.
New members may initially transfer up to 150 hours to obtain the rank of Captain by providing a link to your logbook of another virtual airline, VATSIM, IVAO or real world flights. Once it is successfully verified your hours and rank will be credited accordingly.
